Shri Vinoba Bhave College of Nursing has a spacious; well ventilated four storied separate building constructed as per the norms of Indian Nursing Council with sophisticated lecture halls, laboratories, staff room etc. The college is situated within the campus of its parent hospital – Shri Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital which is 650 bedded Multi-Specialty Tertiary Care Hospital attached with a government Medical College which offers the students state-of-the-art facilities for hands on training in real life setting. Thus, it becomes an excellent learning platform for clinical experience of students.

1. Laboratory Facilities

   • Full-fledged laboratories with adequate supplies and equipments for each concerned department are made available for hands on training aimed at skill development.

   • • Nursing foundation lab Cum Medical surgical Lab:

       This lab consists of cots with mattresses, charts, mannequins, advanced Nursing Models, instruments & articles necessary for procedure demonstration. Here, the students are trained in Basic Nursing procedures & Advanced procedures.              

• • Pre-clinical lab:

    Spacious, ventilated & well equipped with charts, posters and models.

  • Computer lab:

    This lab is well equipped of computers with internet facilities useful for students for Research activities. A provision is made to access e-journals.

  • Child Health Nursing Lab:

    Students are trained in Advanced procedures and skills related to the specialty. This lab consists of cots with mattresses, charts, mannequins, advanced Nursing Models, instruments & articles necessary for procedure demonstration.

  • Community Health Nursing Lab:

    Spacious, ventilated & well equipped with community bags, charts, posters, models, health education plans. Health folders & records related to services provided in community areas are maintained by students.

  • Nutrition lab:

    This lab is well equipped which facilitates students to learn to prepare various kinds of therapeutic diets.

  • OBG lab:

    This lab consists of cot with mattress, charts, and mannequins, working models to conduct delivery, manual delivery model, instruments & articles necessary for midwifery procedure demonstration. Here the students are trained in Advanced procedures and skills related to the specialty.

1. Library

   • Library has a rich collection of latest edition books, periodicals, newspapers, magazines as well as National and International Journals. It is also provided with digital facility for students and teachers to access e-journals for continuous up gradation of knowledge.

2. Lecture Halls

   • The College has adequate number of spacious, well ventilated as well as air conditioned lecture halls with comfortable seating arrangements equipped with traditional & modern teaching aids like Smart boards, LCD projectors with internet facility etc. which provide ambience facilitating teaching-learning process.

3. AUDITORIUM

   • It is utilised for hosting functions of the college, educational conferences/ workshops, examinations etc. It has proper stage with green room facilities. It is well ventilated and has proper lighting system. The arrangements for the use of all kinds of basic and advanced audio visual aids are available there.
